women's event:

Australia has claimed a clean sweep  in the women's 20km walk at the Commonwealth Games, with Jane Saville winning gold.
Saville's younger sister Natalie Saville claimed silver and compatriot Cheryl Webb won the bronze medal.

The Australian's controlled the race around Melbourne , opening up a  lead after just two kilometers.
Jane Saville won in a Games record of 1: 32 :46  in a successful defense of her 20km Commonwealth crown won at the Manchester Games four years ago.

31-year-old Saville set the pace early , with her 27-year-old sister tagging along for the first five kilometers before dropping behind her older sibling.
Natalie Saville's silver medal was her first at a major championship after she finished fourth in the 20km event in Manchester in 2002.
Webb's bronze success came in her first Commonwealth Games.
